SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Welcome to Chalk & Thread. Because all of our apparel items are custom-printed on demand at the time of purchase, our processing and fulfillment workflow differs from traditional pre-stocked retail frameworks. This legally binding policy outlines the terms, timelines, liabilities, and logistics governing your order shipments.

⏰ 1. Processing vs. Shipping Time

Every product hosted on our platform is custom-manufactured upon order placement via our trusted print network partners. Delivery timelines are split into two distinct operational phases:

Fulfillment & Processing Time: Requires 2 to 5 business days. During this period, the garment is blank-sourced, printed, cured, undergoes automated and manual quality assurance protocols, and is packaged for courier injection.
Shipping Time: The subsequent period required for the designated freight carrier to transport and deliver the package from the fulfillment center to the destination address.

Operational Note: All processing, fulfillment, and transit calculations strictly exclude weekend days and federally recognized major holidays.

🚚 2. Domestic Shipping (Within United States)

Domestic shipments are handled via reliable national freight carriers. Standard and expedited options are automatically passed to your checkout environment based on weight and destination.

P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO Military Deployments

Standard delivery solutions actively service domestic Post Office boxes and military APO, FPO, and DPO deployment nodes. Premium expedited or express transit options are structurally restricted from serving these specialized military and postal coordinates.

🌍 3. International Shipping

Cross-border distribution is available across a vast global network. Logistics costs are anchored to baseline USD calculations and dynamically updated via live shipping profiles at checkout.

Customs, Import Duties, and Associated Tariffs

International parcels may encounter border inspections and incur import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), or clear-through processing tariffs imposed by local destination authorities. Chalk & Thread assumes no liability or financial responsibility for these regulatory fees. All monetary assessments applied at the border remain the sole legal obligation of the purchasing party.

📦 4. Order Tracking

Upon cargo pickup and carrier system injection, an automated Shipment Confirmation notice will be transmitted to the consumer's registered email address detailing the carrier identity and distinct tracking numbers. Please allow an operational buffer of 24 to 48 hours for tracking links to update and accurately display real-time transit telemetry.

Consolidated Orders & Fragmented Packages

To optimize dispatch timelines, multi-item orders featuring divergent garment variants or complex blanks may be divided across separate specialized printing hubs. Consequently, items may arrive in distinct, staggered shipments. Multi-parcel fulfillment will generate unique tracking sequences per package; no auxiliary shipping fees will be levied retroactively beyond the initial checkout agreement.

❌ 5. Incorrect Address Disclaimers & Customer Covenants

Customers are legally required to verify the precision of the delivery addresses submitted during checkout. Our processing software routes data directly into automated production queues within a minimal timeframe.

Undeliverable Shipments: In the event that an order is returned to the production facility owing to inaccurate, partial, or invalid addresses provided by the client, the client shall bear full financial liability for secondary printing and reshipment fees.
Misdelivery Risk: Chalk & Thread disclaims all liability and will not provide restitution, credit, or complimentary overrides for orders successfully delivered to an erroneous location specified by the buyer.

💔 6. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages

We are dedicated to upholding rigorous product and logistics standards. Incidents arising during transit will be addressed according to the following liability framework:

Manufacturing and Transit Damage: If a garment arrives structurally compromised, misprinted, or defective, contact customer support within 14 days of delivery. The submission must include clear photographic evidence of the defect alongside the order number. Confirmed claims will receive expedited complimentary reproductions.
Delivery Tracking Discrepancies: If tracking logs confirm a parcel as "Delivered" but it remains missing, clients must perform initial checks with family members, building management, local carriers, and proximate neighbors. Chalk & Thread cannot issue refunds or credits for items validated by carrier tracking as successfully delivered to the correct address.
Lost in Transit: Packages displaying a total cessation of tracking updates for an extended period, which are formally designated as lost by the carrier before delivery, will be replaced and reshipped at no additional cost to the client.
