Shipping & Delivery Policy

Welcome to Chalk & Thread Inc! Because all of our t-shirts are custom-printed just for you when you order, our shipping process looks a little different than a traditional retail store.

Please read below to understand how your order is processed, packaged, and shipped.

⏰ 1. Processing vs. Shipping Time

Every item on our website is printed on demand. This means when you place an order, we send it to our printing partners to be custom-made just for you.

  • Fulfillment/Processing Time: It takes 2 to 5 business days to create, print, and quality-check your t-shirt before it is packaged for shipment.

  • Shipping Time: This is the time it takes for the carrier to deliver the package to your doorstep after it has been printed.

Total Estimated Delivery Time = Fulfillment Time (2–5 days) + Shipping Time.

Note: Processing and shipping times exclude weekends and major holidays.

🚚 2. Domestic Shipping (Within United States)

We offer standard and expedited shipping options for all domestic orders.

  • P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses: We do ship to P.O. Boxes and military addresses via standard shipping. Expedited shipping may not be available for these locations..

🌍 3. International Shipping

We love our global community and proudly ship to most countries worldwide! Because we use dynamic shipping profiles, your exact shipping costs will be calculated perfectly at checkout based on the real-time carrier rates.

⚠️ Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For international orders, your package may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by your destination country.

  • Chalk & Thread Inc is not responsible for these charges.

  • All fees incurred during or after shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs policies vary widely, so please contact your local customs office for more information.

📦 4. Order Tracking

Once your t-shirt has been printed and cleared for shipping, you will receive an automated Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). Please note that the tracking link may take 24–48 hours to update and become active once the carrier scans the package.

Why did my order arrive in separate packages?

If you order multiple different items (for example, two different t-shirt brands, or a t-shirt and a heavy hoodie), they may be fulfilled by different specialized print facilities to get them to you as fast as possible.

Don't worry—you will receive separate tracking numbers for each package in your email, and you will never be charged any surprise delivery fees beyond what you saw and approved at checkout.

❌ 5. Incorrect Address Disclaimers

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout! Because our system automatically transmits your order details directly to our printing partners to ensure fast delivery, we have a very limited window to make changes.

  • Address Typos & Errors: If a package is returned to our printing partner due to an incorrect, incomplete, or invalid address provided at checkout, you will be responsible for covering the cost of re-printing and re-shipping the item to your corrected address.

  • Delivered to the Wrong Place: We cannot offer refunds, credits, or free replacements for packages that are successfully delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.

If you notice a mistake on your order confirmation email, please contact us immediately at chalkandthreadinc@gmail.com. If your order has not yet entered production, we will do our absolute best to update it for you!

💔 6. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages

We want you to love your new gear. If something goes wrong on the journey to your doorstep, we've got your back:

  • Damaged or Misprinted Items: If your shirt arrives misprinted, physically damaged, or defective, please contact us at chalkandthreadinc@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Please include a clear photo of the issue and your order number. Once verified, we will arrange a free replacement order immediately.

  • Marked as "Delivered" but Missing: If your tracking link states your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check with family members, neighbors, your local mail carrier, or building management first. If it is still missing after 3 business days, email us. Please note that because carriers control final delivery, we cannot offer refunds for packages officially marked as successfully delivered.

  • Lost in Transit: If your package stops updating and is officially deemed "lost in transit" by the carrier before ever reaching your address, contact us and we will gladly submit a claim to have a replacement printed and shipped to you at no extra cost.
